Meteorologists anticipate windy weather blowing up dust and sand over much of Egypt on Monday, with moderate winds at southern Upper Egypt while winds will disturb maritime navigation at the Gulf of Suez.
Slightly hot weather is expected for Upper Egypt, milder on northeastern coasts and central Sinai, with moderate temperatures on South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, Lower Egypt and Greater Cairo.
The weather is expected to grow very cold across the country by nightfall.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 26C in Alexandria, 29C in Cairo, 30C in Qena, 31C in Luxor, and 32C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning hours in northern Upper Egypt.
Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated for the northern parts of the country.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height.
Surface winds will be southeastern on both seas.
