Meteorologists predict moderate weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Friday and hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt, with very hot temperatures across southern Upper Egypt during the daytime.
Weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted are 31C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor and 41C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active in South Sinai, across the Gulf of Suez, and on the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and will range between one and 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and will range between two and 2.5 meters with northwestern surface winds.
