Egypt's Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy headed to UAE upon an official invitation from his Emirati counterpart on Saturday, to attend the conference of chiefs of staff of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC).
The conference will discuss the coordination of regional and international efforts to eradicate terrorism, and confront challenges and threats to security and stability in the Middle East, with the participation of Egypt, Jordan and the United States.
