Egypt's non-oil exports grew by 0.22 percent to US$2.206 billion (LE142.9 billion) from January to November 2014, compared to $20.162 billion during the same period last year, according to a statement by Industry and Trade Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour on Saturday.
Abdel-Nour added the rise is despite a drop of 3.71 percent in November alone, to reach $1.6 billion.
"We have achieved 81 percent of the strategic plan annual target to double exports," he said.
The ministry is aiming to achieve $25 billion (LE175 billion) in exports during 2014.
Exports in mining, earning, textiles food industries and medicine saw an increase during the 11 months. While a number of other export sectors (materials, chemicals and workbooks) declined during the same period.
Arab countries are the top market importing from Egypt as exports of non-oil goods to them were $8.4 billion. The European Union followed with $5.9 billion, $1.13 billion from the United States, $1.1 billion from Africa and $3.5 billion from all other countries.
