Egypt’s market losses LE3.2 bn on Tuesday, EGX30 down 0.83%

Egypt's market extended its losses for the second straight session on Tuesday, as the benchmark EGX30 index decreased 0.83 percent, reaching 8,975.32 points and a turnover of LE569 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 and the broader EGX100 index declined by 0.23 percent and 0.78 percent, respectively.

Foreign and Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE43.4 million and LE21.6 million respectively, while local institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE16.2 million.

The EGX market capital lost LE3.15 billion (US$414 million) to hit LE502.94 billion, compared to LE506.09 billion on Monday.
