Egypt’s market loses LE6.4 bn on Tuesday, EGX30 drops 2.5%

Egypt's market suffered losses during Tuesday's session, with the benchmark index EGX30 dropping by 2.51 percent, reaching 6,608 points and a LE416 million turnover, according to the data from the Egyptian Exchange.
 
The mid- and small-cap index EGX70 and the broader index EGX100 also declined 2.25 percent and 1.91 percent, respectively.
 
Foreign institutions  were net buyers recording a net flow of LE3.2 million, while local and Arab institutions were net sellers recording a net flow of LE4.6 million and LE54.4 million, respectively. 
 
The EGX market capital lost LE6.43 billion (US$821 million), to hit LE421.32 billion, compared to LE427.75 billion on Monday.
