Egypt’s market loses LE6.4 billion on Wednesday, EGX30 falls 2.6%

Egypt's market incurred heavy losses on Wednesday for the fourth session in a raw, as the benchmark EGX30 index dropped by 2.6 percent, recording 7,550.98 points and a turnover of LE470 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index declined by 1.55 percent and 1.69 percent, respectively.  
 
Local and foreign institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE22.4 million and LE12.7 million, respectively, while  Arab institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE8 million.
 
The EGX market capital lost LE6.43 billion (US$835 million), hitting LE472.87 billion, compared to LE479.3 billion on Tuesday.
