Egypt’s market loses LE50 million in first 4 months of 2015, all indexes decline

All Indexes of Egypt's market dropped in the first four months of this year, while market capitalization lost only LE50 million (US$7.7 million).

The benchmark index EGX30 fell by 2.85 percent, to end at 8,672.29 points, compared with 8,926.58 points in December 2014.

Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 dropped 15.9 percent to end at 475.44 points, compared with 565.43 points in December 2014.

The broader index EGX100 also fell 10.89 percent to 971.75 points from 1,090.46 points at the end of December 2014.
