Egypt's market main index EGX30 dropped by 1.59 percent on Thursday's session to record 9,052.50 points with a total turnover of LE 531.5 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the broader EGX70 index and the EGX100 index declined by 1.34 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.
Foreign institutions are the only net sellers recording LE15.75 million as opposed to local and Arab institutions that are net buyers at LE17.9 million and LE680,165 respectively.
EGX market capital lost LE3.75 billion (US$497million) to hit LE499.90 billion compared to LE503.65 billion on Wednesday.
