Egypt’s market loses LE3.6 billion on Thursday, EGX30 down 0.94%

Egypt's market extended its heavy losses on Thursday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index went down 0.94 percent, recording 7,172.63 points and a turnover of LE459.2 million, Egyptian Exchange data showed.

Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index declined 0.67 percent and 0.29 percent, respectively.

Foreign and Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE65.8 million and LE14.5 million, respectively, while local institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE55.6 million.

The EGX market capital lost LE3.56 billion (US$456.5 million), hitting LE444.07 billion, compared to LE447.63 billion on Wednesday.
