Egypt's market registered losses after a surge in the two previous sessions, as the EGX30 on Wednesday's session went down by 0.82 percent, reaching 8,756.31 points, and a turnover of LE398.6 million, according to data from the Egyptian Exchange.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 and the broader index EGX100 declined by 0.43 percent and 0.79 percent, respectively.
Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE2.4 million and LE 303,990, respectively, while local institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE18.04 million.
The EGX market capital lost a total of LE1.64 billion (US$121 million), hitting LE501.18 billion, compared to LE502.82 billion on Tuesday.
