Egypt's market traded sideways on Thursday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index went down by 0.68 percent, recording 8,341.72 points and a turnover of LE1.01 billion, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index declined by 0.55 percent and 0.56 percent, respectively.
Local and Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE85.9 million and LE3.9 million, respectively, while foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE67.6 million.
The EGX market capital lost LE1.19 billion (US$157 million), hitting LE483.98 billion, compared to LE485.17 billion on Monday.
