Egypt’s market loses $1. 2 billion on Monday, EGX30 down 2.4%

Egypt's market  incurred losses on Monday's session  with the EGX30 closing down 2.04 percent  to reach 9,585.92 points recording a turnover of LE578 million.

Meanwhile, the EGX70 index and the EGX100 inched up 2. 38 percent,  and 1.74 percent respectively.

"There was a strong selling power from foreign institutions which ended the session as net sellers by LE37.33million, specially affecting blue chip companies with high weights in the EGX30," Sigma Securities Brokerage said .

EGX market capital lost LE9. 23 billion( US$1. 2 billion)  to hit LE523.67 billion compared to LE 532.90 billion on Sunday's session.
