Egypt’s market gains LE6.7 billion on Thursday, EGX30 surges 2.17%

Egypt's market continued to make gains on Thursday's session as the EGX30 increased by 2.17 percent, to reach 8,672.29 points and a turnover of 605 million, according to the data from the Egyptian Exchange.
 
Meanwhile, the broader EGX70 index and the EGX100 index rose by 2.01 percent and 1.8 percent, respectively.
 
Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE36.5 million and LE34.9 million, respectively, while local institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE27.3 million.
 
The EGX market capital gained a total of LE6.74 billion (US$887 million), hitting LE499.79 billion, compared to LE493.05 billion on Wednesday.
