Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone after Sunday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.55 percent to 7,653 points with a turnover of LE369 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased 0.6 percent and 0.43 percent, respectively.
Foreign and local institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE27.2 million and LE7.8 million, respectively, while local retail investors were net sellers recording net flows of LE27.7 million.
The EGX market gained LE560 million (US$69.7 million), hitting LE459.69 billion, compared to Thursday's LE459.13 billion.
