Egypt’s market gains LE4.8 billion on Thursday, EGX30 rises 1.8%

Egypt's market closed in green zone for third session in a row, as the benchmark EGX30 index on Thursday rose by 1.78 percent, recording 8,022.91 points and a turnover of LE590 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased 1.02 percent and 1.43 percent, respectively.  
 
Local, Arab institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE24.2 million and LE1.5 million, respectively, while foreign institution were net sellers, recording net flows of LE37.8.million.
 
The EGX market capital gained LE4.79 billion (US$622 million), hitting LE486.54 billion, compared to LE481.75 billion on Wednesday.
