Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone on Monday, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 1.11 percent to 7,621.67 points, with a turnover of LE518 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased by 1.71 percent and 1.19 percent, respectively.
Arab and foreign institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE33.3 million and LE33.6 million respectively, while local institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE109.5 million.
The EGX market gained LE4.61 billion (US$581 million), hitting LE457.69 billion, compared to Sunday's LE453.08 billion.
