Egypt's stock market finished higher for a third session in a row, as the benchmark EGX30 index on Thursday rose 1.95 percent to 6,779 points with a turnover of LE644 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased 0.7 percent and 1.84 percent, respectively.
Arab and foreign institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE7.7 million and LE38.1 million respectively, while local institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE36.7 million.
The EGX market gained LE4.45 billion (US$568 million), hitting LE428.57 billion, compared to Wednesday's LE424.12 billion.
