Egypt’s market gains LE2.6 billion on Tuesday, EGX30 rises 0.5%

Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone on Tuesday, after losing in the last eight consecutive sessions, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose by 0.48 percent, recording 8,556.1 points and a turnover of LE 340.4 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased by 1.72 percent and 1.09 percent, respectively.
 
Foreign and local institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE14.9 million and LE44.3 million, respectively, while Arab institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE85.7 million.
 
The EGX market capital gained LE2.59 billion (US$341 million), hitting LE487.14 billion, compared to LE484.55 billion on Monday.
