Egypt’s market gains LE2.1 bn on Monday, EGX30 rises 1.1 %

Egypt's stock market closed on the green zone for a second straight session, as the benchmark EGX30 index on Monday rose 1.07 percent to 7,158.1 points, with a turnover of LE413 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

The small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased 0.33percent and 0.60 percent, respectively.

Local and Arab institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE15.5 million and LE11.1 million respectively, while foreign institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE48.2 million.

The EGX market gained LE2.14 billion (US$274 million), hitting LE444.99 billion, compared to Sunday's LE442.85 billion.
