Egypt’s market gains LE2 bn on Thursday, EGX30 inches up 0.4%

Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone on Thursday, as the benchmark EGX30 index inched up 0.38 percent to 7,507 points with a turnover of LE512 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index rose 0.48 percent and 0.38 percent, respectively.
 
Arab and foriegn institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE14.6 million and LE26 million respectively, while local institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE4.3 million.
 
The EGX market gained LE1.99 billion (US$248 million), hitting LE453.14 billion, compared to Wednesday's LE451.15 billion.
