Egypt's market main index commenced Thursday’s session on a strong positive note recording its 52 week high at EGP9,975.88 points, Sigma Securities Brokerage said.
The EGX30 closed up 0.43precent to record 9,898.86 points with a total turnover of LE835 million, while the broader EGX70 index I and the EGX100 index closed down 0.23 percent and 0.52 respectively.
The Arab and foreign institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE23.54million and LE10.31million respectively compared to local institutions that were net sellers at LE1.87million.
Meanwhile, Arab retail investors closed as net buyers recording a net flow of LE23.22million while local retail investors ended the session as net sellers recording a net flow of LE59.42million.
EGX market capital gained LE1.04 billion to hit LE521.46 billion compared to LE519.88 billion on Wednesday's session.
