Egypt's market closed in the green zone for the fifth session in a row, as the benchmark EGX30 index on Wednesday rose by 0.47 percent, recording 8,087.24 points and a turnover of LE395 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index increased by 1.97 percent and 1.1 percent, respectively.
Local, Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE54.9 million and LE6.4 million, respectively, while foreign institution were net buyers, recording net flows of LE38.5.million.
The EGX market capital gained LE1.53 billion (US$199 million), hitting LE488.24 billion, compared to LE486.71 billion on Tuesday.
