Egypt’s market gains LE1.4 billion on Thursday, EGX30 up 0.24 %

Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone on Thursday, as the benchmark EGX30 index inched up 0.24 percent, recording 8,576.71 points and a turnover of LE345 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index rose by 0.66 percent and 0.91 percent, respectively.
 
Local and Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE7.7 million and LE10.2 million, respectively, while foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE29.2 million.
 
The EGX market capital gained LE1.4 billion (US$209 million), hitting LE490.1 3 billion, compared to LE488.73 billion on Wednesday.
