Egypt's stock market closed in the green zone for the second session in a row on Wednesday, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose by 0.66 percent, recording 8,905.60 points, and a turnover of LE427.9 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index inched down by 0.19 percent and 0.01 percent respectively.
Local and Arab institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE19.6 million and LE1.03 million respectively, while foreign institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE1.4 million.
The EGX market capital gained LE1.23 billion (US$162 million), hitting LE500.24 billion, compared to LE499.01 billion on Tuesday.
