Egypt’s market gains LE1.2 billion on Thursday, EGX30 rises 1.18 %

Egypt's benchmark index EGX30 increased 1.18 percent on Thursday's session, reaching 8,892.53 points, with a weak turnover of LE 327.6 million, according to the data from the Egyptian Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader EGX70 index and EGX100 index rose by 0.25 percent and 0.39 percent respectively.

Foreign investors were net buyers, recording net flows of 273,029, while Local and Arab investors were net sellers, recording net flows of LE30.3 million and LE 9.02 million respectively.

EGX market capital gained LE2.1billion (US$279million), to hit LE510.89 billion, compared to LE508.79 billion on Wednesday.
