Egypt’s benchmark index drops by 2.28 % on Thursday

Egypt's market Incurred heavy losses on Thursday's session, with benchmark index EGX30 dropped 2.28 percent reaching the record 8,891.73 points and a LE796 billion turnover, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

The broader EGX70 index and the EGX100 index fell by1.8 percent and 1.65 percent respectively.

Local institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE84.61million, while Foreign and Arab institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE91.71Mn and LE74.49Mn respectively.
