Major General al-Araby al-Seroury, governor of Suez, received a delegation from the Russian Embassy in Cairo, along with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to dicuss the establishment of a Russian-Egyptian industrial zone in Suez governorate, on Cairo-Suez highway.
"There will be coordination between the Suez governorate, the Ministry of Industry, and the Industrial Development Authority to set a timetable to begin the first steps of the project," said Seroury.
The governor pointed out that establishing such an industrial zone will provide new job opportunities for the people of Suez, and boost local industry and trade, especially at the Suez ports of Adabiya and Sokhna, facilitating trade with Russia.
