Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhy, made an inspection visit on Friday to “Club One”, in Maadi, Cairo – the first ever smart sports club in Egypt.
This comes in preparation for the expected inauguration of the club in the second quarter of next year, done through the cooperation of the ministries of Communications and Information Technology, and Youth and Sports to support the development of smart sports services and electronic games in Egypt.
The club aims to provide a unique smart sports experience to its members and is a major step forward for the sports sector in Egypt, ensuring its development keeps in pace according to the latest global technologies.
Club One will utilize modern technology to support athletes in developing their abilities and skills.
The new club will provide its members with a range of smart sports services based on the latest technologies that allow everyone, from amateurs to professional athletes, to analyze and follow their sports activities.
Club One will rely on superior technological infrastructure that allows integration between smart devices and systems, from sensors and cameras that monitor player movements and surrounding environmental conditions, to advanced analytics platforms that process and analyze the data produced by these devices.
The club also offers augmented reality, virtual reality, and interactive games technologies to give e-sports broader horizons and more impressive experiences.
