The Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products, tasked with reviewing and setting selling prices for petroleum products, has met. In an effort to ensure the availability of petroleum products and regulate market performance in accordance with the established pricing mechanisms, and seeking to reduce the gap between the selling prices of petroleum products and their high production and import costs, the prices of gasoline and diesel have increased on Friday.
- 95 Octane Gasoline: 17 Egyptian Pounds/liter.
- 92 Octane Gasoline: 15.25 Egyptian Pounds/liter.
- 80 Octane Gasoline: 13.75 Egyptian Pounds/liter.
- Diesel: 13.50 Egyptian Pounds/liter.
- Kerosene: 13.50 Egyptian Pounds/liter.
Fuel prices in Egypt have been on the rise this year, with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announcing three increases so far. The first increase took place in March, followed by a second increase in July.
