The terrorist group now calling itself the Islamic State in Egypt, formerly known as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, posted photos on Monday showing confrontations between its elements and armed forces in North Sinai.

The group described the photos saying “part of confrontations between the caliphate soldiers to a military raid by the army at the buffer zone.”
The group also pledged to face all security raids against its elements.
Meanwhile, Sabra al-Qassemy, expert on Islamic movements, said that posting such photos one day after showing photos of the first week military parade in Sinai highlights depression among the group members, thus it tries to spread hope after news on them were stopped and failure in carrying out other terrorist operations.
