Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Ihab Nasr has met with Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General Paul Huijts, during which they discussed ways of boosting bilateral ties.
The meeting was held as part of the Egyptian-Dutch political consultations, which were held at the Foreign Ministry’s premises.
On its official Facebook page, the Foreign Ministry said that the two sides discussed means of further enhancing bilateral ties, especially in the economic, political and cultural spheres.
An agreement was also reached to continue political consultations and exchange viewpoints on the various issues of mutual interest, it added.
During the meeting, Nasr said the volume of Dutch investments in Egypt rank the third in terms of foreign investments.
The volume of Dutch investments in Egypt hit about dlrs 4.7 billion in 2022, he noted.
