Egypt, Namibia discuss boosting cooperation in pharmacological industry

Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Tamer Essam discussed in a meeting with the executive director of the Namibia Medicines Regulatory Council (NMRC) ways of fostering cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry.

According to a statement released by the EDA on Friday, the two sides probed the possibility of exporting Egyptian medicines to the Namibian market and exchanging technical capabilities in drug manufacturing and control.

The meeting comes as part of the EDA’s efforts to tap Egyptian medicines into African markets.
