Chairman of the Egyptian Karate Federation Mohamed al-Dahrawi asserted that Egypt is at the forefront of countries ranked under the World Karate Federation (WKF).
In a phone-in on Egyptian TV Channel 1 on Thursday, he attributed the success of the Egyptian athletes in the Arab and international competitions to good training of national teams in addition the local championships organized continuously by the Egyptian federation.
Egypt snatched 51 medals, including 32 gold ones, in the Arab championship held in Jordan in which 10 countries took part, he said.
