The Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA) announced on Wednesday that it has launched hotline 19654 to receive tourist complaints and suggestions.
This comes out of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’ desire to satisfy tourists and visitors to Egyptian tourist destinations and ensure the best service.
The ETAA said in a statement that the launch of the hotline comes to aid in finding solutions to emergency problems as soon as they occur.
Visitors to tourist destinations, domestic or foreign can contact this number during their visit, or through the following e-mail: [email protected].
Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ghada Shalaby added that once complaints are received via the hotline, they are resolved immediately, explaining that the telephone service operates 24 hours a day.
Shalaby added that the ministry launched several publications during which it stressed the need for hotels to put the hotline number in a prominent place at the hotel reception so that it is visible to tourists, in addition to circulating it to all tourist and archaeological facilities upon their arrival.
