Egypt has informed the negotiating mediators of its categorical rejection of the Israeli escalation in the Palestinian city of Rafah, a high-level source said.
Egypt has also held Israel responsible of the deterioration of the situation in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, added the source.
Israel bears the responsibility for preventing aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip, the source said, according to AlQahera News.
