Egypt to host Interpol meetings Monday

Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Hurghada will host the seventh annual meeting of heads of Interpol’s offices in the Middle East and North Africa on Monday.
 
The meetings will be chaired by Egypt’s Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, according to a statement released by the ministry on Sunday. Representatives from 14 Arab states, the Gulf Cooperation Council, the UK’s National Crime Agency and the UN’s Office on Drugs and Crime will be present.
 
According to the statement, the meetings will discuss Arab cooperation with Interpol in combating terrorism and illegal migration.
 
The seventh annual meetings will conclude on Wednesday
