Egypt hospitals report 860 injured as EgyptAir cancels flights

Egyptian hospitals in Cairo report that 860 people have been injured during Friday's protests in Cairo, as reported by the BBC.

In other news, Egypt's national airlines EgyptAir announced the suspension of outbound flights from Egypt in reaction to curfews in force since 6PM.

In wide defiance of the curfew, however, protests continue as people fill the streets in what some observers describe as a carnival atmosphere.
