Egypt Healthcare Authority said it won the golden award on leading health sustainability at the level of the Arab world, for its distinguished efforts in promoting the concept of green transformations in the healthcare system.
Introduced by the Arab Hospitals Federation, Egypt Healthcare Authority won the golden award equally with Abu Dhabi Department of Health.
The Arab Hospitals Federation has launched a competition for highlighting the efforts of the healthcare institutions and bodies in the Arab world for green transformations of healthcare systems in an attempt to face climate change.
The Arab Hospitals Federation praised the approach devised by Egypt Healthcare Authority to fulfill the recommendations of COP27, held in Sharm el Sheikh on November 6-18, noting that it is seen as a role model in the Arab region in terms of ensuring the provision of quality and sustainable healthcare services.
