The Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Jordan and France discussed the path towards achieving a ceasefire and putting an end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, Ahmed Abu-Zeid, stated that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a session of discussions with his French counterpart Stephane Ségournet, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tahrir Palace on Friday.
The foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, and France – Shoukry, Ayman al-Safadi, and Ségournet – held tripartite discussions on the situation in Gaza and joint paths of action to achieve a permanent ceasefire and reduce the humanitarian crisis from which the residents of the Gaza Strip are suffering.
Sigourney said that on Saturday he with Shoukry and Ayman Safadi in Cairo to discuss finding a political solution to the Middle East crisis.
Ségournet wrote on his official “X” account, which was reported by the French Embassy in Cairo – “We will also work to release the hostages and coordinate our humanitarian efforts in Gaza.”
The Egyptian Air Force continued its efforts to implement humanitarian air bridge missions to airdrop food aid and basic needs to support Palestinian citizens.
This comes as part of the Egyptian state’s efforts to ensure the arrival of humanitarian aid and urgent relief materials to the Gaza Strip.
