Egypt condemned on Wednesday 1/5/2024 the attack by Israeli settlers on two Jordanian aid convoys to the Gaza Strip carrying food and basic aid.
Spokesperson at Egyptian foreign ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid told MENA those behind such attacks were to be tried for the violations.
Abu Zeid said Israel as occupying power bears the responsibility of providing the necessary protection for humanitarian aid convoys, in accordance with the provisions of international law, as well as ensuring the arrival of urgent humanitarian aid to various regions.
