Egypt has condemned the terrorist bombing on the Imam Reda mosque in the Al-Ahsaa governorate, Saudi Arabia.
Two gunmen attacked the Shia mosque wearing explosive belts during Friday prayers, killing four and wounding eighteen.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Foreign Ministry stressed the bombers' attempts to destabilize security and intimidate citizens in Saudi Arabia.
Egypt offered condolences to the families of the victims.
The statement also highlighted Egypt’s stance against all forms of violence and terrorism. It also called for uniting internationational efforts to eradicate terrorism as well as sources of funding.
