Egypt condemns Israel’s seizure of UNRWA headquarters

In a statement by the Foreign Ministry, Egypt on Sunday condemned Israel’s announcement of seizing land where the UNRWA headquarters is located in Jerusalem, and to turn its location into a new settlement outpost.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said that the Israeli occupation army is using booby-trapped drones loaded with tons of explosives in its campaign of widespread destruction and killing carried out in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army has separated northern Gaza from the city, by stationing vehicles, placing sand barriers and rubble of destroyed homes in addition to drone attacks causing fires.

Israel continues to commit massacres against Palestinian families and displaced persons in Gaza, as the Israeli army prevents ambulance crews from retrieving 75 bodies from the streets and from under the rubble of their homes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that he was urging the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, to immediately transfer the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) from the combat zones.

The UNIFIL warned against a catastrophic regional conflict as fighting continues between Israel, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Hamas movement on the Lebanese and Gaza fronts.
