Egypt has expressed its strong denunciation and condemnation of the extremist and inciting calls from Israeli settler organizations, which call for the bombing of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Egypt stressed its complete rejection of what these calls reflect as a severe provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world.
It emphasized the necessity of stopping the dangerous violations within the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and warned against any infringement upon Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
Egypt called on the international community to act immediately to stop Israeli violations and provocations, and to put an end to its actions that violate international law, in a way that prevents the increasing deterioration of security and stability in the Middle East region.
