Egypt’s army forces killed a high-ranking militant in central Sinai, and found him in possession of communication devices, an automatic weapon, ammunition, and a night vision goggles.
Army spokesperson Tamer al-Refaei said that the army’s ground troops discovered and destroyed two four-wheeled vehicles, and a motorbike used by terrorists.
The armed forces discovered and destroyed five storehouses, inside of which lay a large quantity of explosive devices, logistics, fuel, and materials used in manufacturing improvised explosive devices, Refaei said.
He added that the forces seized a truck loaded with a large amount of spare parts of motorbikes and materials used in manufacturing improvised explosive devices.
