Egypt intends on providing new forms of support and assistance to Nile Basin countries, said Prime Minister Hazem al-Beblawy on Wednesday.
Beblawy said he hopes Egyptian aid will expand in the future, particularly in the wake of the formation of the Egyptian Partnership Agency for Development under the Foreign Ministry, which will manage and develop forms of support and aid destined for African countries.
Beblawy discussed issues of cooperation with Nile Basin countries in a meeting with the Cabinet on Wednesday.
The prime minister stressed that the government will pay special attention to strengthening ties with other African countries in general.
