Egypt condemned on Monday strongly condemned “cowardly terrorist” attacks from Huthi militia targeting the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Jizan, Saudi Arabia, which injured several civilians and caused material damage.
In a statement by Foreign Ministry, Egypt said that the repeated targeting of vital civilian facilities, including airports and innocent civilians by the Huthi militia is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and a blatant threat to the stability of the Kingdom, the safety of civil aviation and the freedom of air navigation..
Egypt stressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the measures it is taking to confront “these despicable terrorist attacks,” stressing the close link between the security and stability of the two close nations.
