The Egyptian stock exchange traded in the green throughout the session though it failed to maintain its upward movement and closed on a downward trend, according to Sigma Securities Brokerage.
The EGX30 index lost 0.25 percent recording 8,775.02 points on a total turnover LE518 million.
Meanwhile, Foreign and Arab institutions closed as net buyers recording LE29.99 million and LE16.03 million respectively while local institutions were net sellers recording a net flow of LE38.79 million, stock market data showed.
The market capitalization losses LE0.5 billion to close at LE495.4 billion compared to LE495.9 billion on Thursday.
