EFG Hermes Securities Brokerage has been named the best Middle East broker at EMEA Finance Middle East Banking Awards 2014, according to a statement issued by the company on Tuesday.
The Securities Brokerage division was also named the best broker in Jordan and Kuwait, the statement added. It remained the number-one broker in Egypt during the fiscal year 2014, improving its ranking in Kuwait from the 3rd to the 2nd position. It ranked 3rd on the ADX, and maintained its position in Dubai where it ranked 6th on the DFM and 1st on the NASDAQ Dubai, the statement mentioned.
The division also ranked first amongst foreign brokers in Saudi Arabia in 2014, moving up to to 3rd place from the 12th position in 2013 in Jordan. In Oman, it now occupies the 4th place, compared to the 7th in 2013.
