The Education Ministry has announced it is considering requests to include acquittal of toppled President Hosni Mubarak from charges of killing protesters in history syllabi.
Hani Kamal, spokesperson of the ministry, told Al-Arabiya.net that the ministry respects the judicial verdicts indicating further steps until the verdict becomes final. He added that prosecutor challenged the verdict on Sunday, thus the ministry cannot include the verdict in the syllabuses until it becomes final and only if experts indicated its importance.
